Exciting Announcements and Castings

*EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS, CASTINGS, AND OVERALL GREAT OPPORTUNITIES*

Starting Fall 2017 off with a bang!

*If you’re on this page, make sure to get involved and SPREAD THE WORD. As we know eczema / atopic dermatitis is VERY ISOLATING, so now’s your chance to GET INVOLVED!

Recently, there have been some epic opportunities that have been presented to me and I’m here to spread the word…

//

About two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of speaking with two postdocs from the University of Oklahoma. We touched on some incredible topics about eczema. Think – mental health, overall cost of having eczema, which treatment methods I’ve used etc.. It was so inspiring to hear postdocs remotely interested in eczema, a skin condition that has been around for decades and until recently received little to no attention.

Who: Postdocs Dustin Masser and Blake Hopiavuori
What: Researching / Looking to interview
Casting: ANYONE with Eczema or Atopic Dermatitis
Contact Info: Dustin-Masser@ouhsc.eduBlake-Hopiavuori@ouhsc.edu

Info –
Dustin Masser and Blake Hopiavuori are two postdocs at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, who are looking to interview eczema sufferers via phone or Skype.

They are part of a program on their campus that develops ideas they previously worked on, during their PhD training. These ideas have the potential to build a startup company, based on their research and findings, but they need your help. Specifically, they are looking for those with eczema and atopic dermatitis to share how you manage your skin. This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to let them know how important struggling with eczema / atopic dermatitis is.

PLEASE consider help them out, as this helps our community get ONE STEP CLOSER to possibly finding a cure. Or bettering the current treatments on the market. If you or anyone you is interested in speaking with them, their contact info is listed above, just click on the emails.

You know, the doctor who greets you with a pleasant smile, engages in actual conversation and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the care you need. Or the doctor that gives it to you straight, when your faced with challenges but helps every step of the way.
